Today was absolutely amazing.

• Today 200 families received a weeks worth of food.
• 39 people served our community with us
• 6 of the people who served had no contact with us or the new church previous to today
• 24 people had never served with us before

Today we recieved $1300 from a donor for our feed 200 initiative.  This person felt led to give to the cause and predetermined the amount to give,  what they weren’t aware of was that we needed $1300 to completely pay for this initiative. ( I was floored when I received the call)

Today we recieved an overwhelming response to our idea of starting a new food co-op in Annapolis

Today God showed up in our deliveries.  People who delivered were changed.  People who received were given hope.

Today was a great day.

Here is what I learned:

God loves it when we get ourselves into situations where we absolutely need Him to show up! He wants us to risk much so that He can show His power.  Today we risked much – a week ago I was asking our team to please talk with anyone they could because we still needed to raise $4000.  A week ago we still needed many volunteers to help us pack and deliver the food.  A week ago I was worried.

God knows the details.  He watches over us and gives us what we need, when we need it.  He loves it when we wait on Him and learn to trust Him.
