For eleven years now my wife Sarah and I have had the desire to start a new church. Our journey to this point has been a great adventure. I am married to the most amazing woman ever to walk the planet earth. I have the cutest daughter in the world (Savannah). I would say that I am pretty much living the dream life.
Throughout college the desire for starting a new church grew in both of us. We read books, attended conferences, and prayed about what God wanted us to do next. We were given an opportunity to be a part of a church that is passionate about helping start new churches. So, for the last three years I worked at New Life Christian Church in Northern VA, which helped us tremendously in preparing us for this next season. With much prayer and consideration we moved to Annapolis at the beginning of September. We are so excited to be starting this new church here. Our passion is to start a church for people who don’t go to church. To say that I am excited about this would be a gross understatement. Our passion in life is telling people about the love of God for them and helping them along their journey. We believe that Jesus is the hope of the world and that the most effective way to reach people with God’s message of love is to start new churches.
My hope and my prayer is that God will allow us and this new church to be a part of a movement of new churches that will change our country and the world.
